Who I am

Senior Software Engineer and Creative Technologist with 13 years of experience building interactive, real-time applications. Expert in full stack development, creative uses of new and emerging tech, Unity and C#, and modern frontend development (React, TypeScript). I’ve worked on everything from research projects using cutting edge tech (such as AR/VR tools with eye and hand tracking spanning all the way from 2016 until present), to mission critical applications such as ballistic missile defense mission planning software. I’m currently lead frontend engineer at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab for the Futures Center - a ReactJS application that leverages large language models to process extensive document data and generate strategic trend forecasts, enabling military and defense decision-makers to anticipate future scenarios across multiple domains

Passionate about creativity, I’m obsessed with trying new things and learning new skills. I'm an early adopter of tech and currently deep into AI image generation tools, LLMs, text to speech, speech to text, text to video, image to video, and more. I setup and run workflows locally whenever new models drop (Flux, Wan 2.2, Flux 2 Klein, VibeVoice, Z-Image, LTX-2, and more). I've also experimented extensively with cloud-based tools like Runpod to rent powerful GPUs for training and running heavy AI models. I have experience with all the major AI players and models, including Google Gemini, OpenAI ChatGPT, and Anthropic Claude.

I LOVE making fun experimental interactive experiences for people to get their hands on. This work spans video games, escape rooms, interactive retro futuristic computer terminals you can talk to (and argue with), art installations, physical games and more. See more in my Interactive Interfaces and games sections.

I’ve been infatuated with video games ever since I was a child playing Super Mario Bros. 3 on the NES. Since 2012, I've been into game development and have created over 20 different prototypes spanning multiple genres. I recently demoed my solo-developed game - Arm of the Drawmancer at MAGFest 2026! It’s a side scrolling physics-based platformer where you draw the platforms yourself! See more in my Games section.

Outside of the technical, I am in love with photography - I travel around the US to different conventions to do convention photography, and bring my camera to do landscape photography when I travel abroad and to national parks.

I’ve been into videography since I was a teenager making skateboarding videos. I’ve had a number of different sketch comedy youtube channels over the years that I wrote, filmed, and acted in. I’ve had another youtube channel with millions of views boom during the early AI age around 2022 using AI image generation models an text to speech tools.

I perform comedy improv for 3 different teams around the DMV area. You can find some of my clips with my lovely team on our Youtube here: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/hqDbVLJdicw

I also enjoy writing music and playing guitar. Rock climbing and the outdoors is a big part of my life as well.
